I loved how the last motif turned out and I just had to see if I was able to make a similar one - just with some other colors... It was actually more difficult than making a complete different one! But, with some small changes one more canvas is made :) (The text says: "Hold & Love")

Å favne og omfavnes

Finally time to make another canvas! A fabulous week with Art Therapy is over, and I'm home again. This one is strongly inspired by the feeling from last week - embrace and be embraced.

Bivoks i blokker?

Er det noen av dere som vet om det er mulig å få kjøpt bivoks (beeswax) i blokker her i Norge? Jeg vet de selger det i bl.a. USA og England, men det hadde vært supert å få tak i dette i Norge... Så - gode tips tas i mot med stor takk :)

Still enjoying the mixed media collages :) This time I've used colors I normally don't use... I'm not very brownish, I guess *lol* But it's fun to experiment with new colors - and embellishment. (The title means: "Everyday Angel")

Nok et bilde - one more canvas

I'm still strongly inspired by the fabulous Kelly Rae - but I'm also trying to incorporate a touch of my own style... That's a tricky one, actually. But I'm considering this as a periode of practisising - allowing myself to do some "look a like's" for a while, and then - when I'm feeling a bit more secure of the drawing and painting - slowly exploring my own style and way of doing it. On this one, I guess the bold flowers is the element you could call a personal touch...

I'm still practisising drawing people, this time strongly inspired by Kelly Rae. Her work is so inspiring! Thanks :) I used the background I made yesterday, draw the ladies direct to the background and painted them. My fingers are itching to make more!

I've made a background for a new collage on canvas. It's a real mix up with several techniques. I have an idea for the rest of the collage, but time will show if I manage to create what I see in my mind *lol*
